Looking Ahead to 2023

I’ve been on a personal growth and development journey my entire life– for as long as I can remember.  The first book I read was “Becoming a Person of Influence” by John C Maxwell—and that was in the 11th grade! My personal growth and development started with the investment of a book and has grown all the way to hundreds of thousands of dollars in masterminds, coaches and conferences.

I’ve also been a licensed realtor since the year 2000– almost 23 years ago!

I cut my teeth on new construction representation and working with builders and developers. This career was my way of solving my money problem. I didn’t have a college degree, I needed to make money, I didn’t know what I wanted to do, so I became a realtor.

But I also started a team. And that’s where I’ve taught people how to become realtors and taught existing realtors how to sell houses. And that’s what I have focused on in terms of my job. Everyone should have a business and a job and my job was to recruit and train top realtors.

From as early as I can remember I’ve known I needed to take chances, feel the fear and do it anyway, and move towards my desired future self. They say the best way to learn something is to teach it. Well, I’ve been teaching forever because I had a lot to learn.

In 2017, after the 2016 flood when I was in a rebirth and recreation period of what I wanted to do, I found clarity on my passion and mission in life:

1. To coach, mentor and teach others how to live the good life

2. To inspire others to take action and level up

3. To connect them with people, tools, resources to achieve their goals

That was the substance of the “what” which ensued from 2017. What I chose as the form of delivery of that substance was a real estate team model and Kaizen Home Sales and Service was born! My plan at the time was to coach, teach, train and through that to find real estate deals to transact for my job, business, and income.

Since then, God has been preparing me for five years to make this pivot that I’m sharing with all of y’all today.

It’s time for me to go all in with coaching, training, and professional mentorship. All the tools, people, experiences, networks, coaches, and conferences have been working FOR me to get me to this point and EXACT place. I can now see it as plain as day.

The hardest thing in the world for me seems to be saying the word “no” to something I’m good at, which comes easy. The challenge I face every day is wanting to do more than I can possibly complete. It’s with that in mind that I began making this pivot earlier this year and began to set myself up to focus on my gift zone, my passion, and cut straight to the chase– to delegate everything that’s not my “one thing” and that’s exactly where I’m at today.

I’m a professional mentor, a coach and trainer. I am also a real estate investor. The tide has turned and I’m in a new season of life and career. Real estate teams, brokerages, and sales is no longer my primary focus. Real estate investing is. Growing my wealth and mentoring others to do the same– that’s where you’ll find me. Mentoring, group coaching, and real estate investing is where I belong.

For Realtors needing a brokerage, I own one—but it’s only for the Realtors who are hungry, self-starters and don’t need all the hoo-rah, fancy splits, social parties, awards and ego stroking! We don’t do fanfare, we do deals.

My desire and responsibility is to curate the right people and design the right environment for optimal productivity and real estate investing and to help people become whole life millionaires filled with wealth and abundance in all areas of life!
